Family · Dignity · A Foundation of Hope

Every child deserves a family to belong to and a future to walk into.

Michael's Foundation of Hope was founded in 2017 to stand in the gap for children who have been orphaned and displaced. We do not simply provide shelter. We become family, walking with each child from their first day with us into a confident, capable adulthood, all on the foundation of Christ.

What We Stand On

A home built on four foundations

Everything we do for a child in our care rests on these commitments, from the day they arrive to the day they step into independent adulthood.

Family, Not a Facility

Children in our care are welcomed as sons and daughters into a lasting family, not processed through a program with an end date.

Restoring Dignity

Every child is treated with the honor and respect due to them, helping them see their own worth clearly again.

Life Skills for the Journey

We teach practical trades, academics, and independent living skills so each child can stand confidently on their own two feet.

The Foundation of Christ

Our care is rooted in Christian faith, offering each child hope, moral grounding, and a community of belief to grow within.

The Hope Path

Our story, one step at a time

From a single decision to open a home, to a growing family, to a new life center taking shape in Badagry. Each milestone has carried a child a little further along the path.

Leadership

The family behind the family

Two leaders, one calling: to make sure no child walks through loss without someone standing beside them.

What We Do

Care that follows a child through every season

Our work is not a single service. It is a full journey of support, from the moment a child comes into our care through their first steps as an independent adult.

Family Placement and Belonging

We welcome orphaned and displaced children into a family setting, giving them stability, consistent caregivers, and a true sense of home.

Community Food Outreach

Beyond our own family, we regularly distribute food and essential supplies to vulnerable families and children across the wider community.

Education and Life Skills

Each child receives schooling support alongside practical life skills training, preparing them to be capable, self reliant adults.

Faith and Discipleship

We nurture each child's spiritual growth on the foundation of Christ, offering hope, moral grounding, and a caring community of faith.
